Quantity Surveying Lecturer/Assistant Professor

The Faculty of Engineering Technology and Built Environment (FETBE) came into existence in 2007 as a result of a synergetic merger between the School of Engineering and the School of Architecture and Built Environment, which were established in 1992 and 2005, respectively.
Supported by decades of accumulated experience in the education and industrial sectors, the faculty has evolved rapidly to become one of the most prestigious and innovative providers of engineering and architectural education, not only in Malaysia but throughout the region. Notably, the faculty offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that have gained national and international recognition.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with BQSM to set up the programme compliant to the accreditation.
- Conduct course reviews to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Perform relevant administrative tasks as and when required.
- Prepare the teaching and learning materials in accordance with the course content and additional materials necessary for delivery and discussion.
- Prepare and grade assessments as stipulated in each offered course.
- Counsel students pertaining to their academic and career.
- Conduct public seminars on contemporary issues when necessary.
- Involve in major public exhibitions, open days and road shows when required.
- Active involvement in research.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a minimum Bachelor in Quantity Surveying or any related field. Candidates with a Master qualification has an added advantage.
- Candidates with at least 5 years of post-registration experience are preferred.
- Candidates must be a registered QS.
- Full-Time position available.
