Congratulations to Ms Carmen Loh Wai Leng, who netted the 1st prize for the Best Paper Award (Oral Presentation Category) in the 8th Green Sustainable Biotechnology Symposium 2018 on 19th January held at National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan. 

Carmen is a MSc student supervised by Assistant Professor Dr Grrace Ng Hui Suan.

Congratulations to Miss Tan Yong Hui (Karen Tan) who obtained the “Young Researcher Award”, an honourable recognition from IUBMB (International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) and Department of Food, Environmental and Nutritional Sciences (FENS), University of Milan. She is sponsored to participate in a scientific course at the IUBMB Advanced School located in Spetses Island, Greece.

Congratulations to Assistant Professor Dr Lionel In Lian Aun on being appointed a member of the Young Scientists Network - Academy of Sciences Malaysia (YSN-ASM) for 2017-2020. He is considered a leading young scientist in the country, carrying the mission of inspiring the new generation of young scientists to excel and contribute back to society. He will also participate in ASM's plan to nurture the next generation of leaders in science.

Congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nyam Kar Lin for winning a silver medal for her innovation "Kenaf Seed Oil: A New Potential Source of Edible Oil" at Pecipta 2017.
