The Faculty of Social Sciences & Liberal Arts offers programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate degree levels in the disciplines of Mass Communication, Psychology, English Language & Communication, and Education. Our programmes combines theory and practice and students apply their knowledge and skills in practicums, industry projects and co-operative learning attachments every year. Our vibrant, dedicated and creative team of faculty members are committed to innovation and excellence in teaching and research.

The MD programme of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is conducted in KL campus for the preclinical phase. The Terengganu campus implement the clinical phase which comprises of year 3, 4, and 5. Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah is the teaching hospital plus other health centres and Hospital Daerah Dungun. 

The Faculty of Engineering Technology and Built Environment (FETBE) came into existence in 2007 as a result of a synergetic merger between the School of Engineering and the School of Architecture and Built Environment, which were established in 1992 and 2005, respectively. 

The Faculty of Business & Information Science (FoBIS) is one of the largest faculties in UCSI University. At FoBIS, we seek to promote interdisciplinary approaches – a strategy that has contributed immensely too many of our students’ achievements. As part of the Faculty's philosophy in effecting positive change through transformative education, our programmes have been specifically crafted to cultivate an authentic learning environment – one that fuses innovative teaching and learning practices with strategic partnerships and research. 

The School of Optometry in UCSI was approved and started on the 16th December 2012 and currently offers a Bachelor’s degree in Optometry. The first student intake was in September 2014. The second batch will be in January 2015 and the next will be in July 2015.

Going beyond primary-care education, the School of Healthy Aging, Medical Aesthetics and Regenerative Medicine of UCSI University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is making headway through its Graduate School of Healthy Aging, Medical Aesthetics and Regenerative Medicine. The School is the only centre in Malaysia that provides training in this niche field and doctors enjoy avenues to further their knowledge in regenerative medicine – a discipline that is quickly gaining traction the world over.
