The Faculty of Engineering Technology and Built Environment (FETBE) came into existence in 2007 as a result of a synergetic merger between the School of Engineering and the School of Architecture and Built Environment, which were established in 1992 and 2005, respectively. 

The Faculty of Social Sciences & Liberal Arts offers programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate degree levels in the disciplines of Mass Communication, Psychology, English Language & Communication, and Education. Our programmes combine theory and practice, and students apply their knowledge and skills in practicums, industry projects and co-operative learning attachments every year. Our vibrant, dedicated and creative team of faculty members are committed to innovation and excellence in teaching and research.

UCSI University’s De Institute of Creative Arts and Design - or better known by its acronym ICAD - is where the “magic” begins. 

Catering to the needs of creative industries, ICAD offers unique art and design programmes that seek to equip students with fundamental knowledge, creativity and competencies needed in today’s dynamic marketplace. Under the tutelage of experienced academics, students are schooled in industry know-how and continue to hone their creative expression.
