Students Activities and Recreation
The Student Activities and Recreation Unit (SARU) provides students with diverse opportunities for practical experience through co-curricular activities organised throughout the year. Students are encouraged to participate actively in these activities, as they provide valuable hands-on experience for leadership and character development. The mission of SARU is to enhance the overall educational experience of UCSI University students through participation in social, cultural, intellectual and recreational activities, as well as community services and campus governance programmes. SARU works very closely with UCSI University's Student Council to nurture student clubs and associations, and to ensure that activities and programmes are aimed at developing students in a personal and eventually professional capacity.

Students Activities and Recreation
Student life is never just academic studies. It also includes having fun and recreation, learning, and development activities.
The Students’ Activities and Recreation Unit (SARU) has created a platform for students to get involved in various extra-curricular activities throughout the study year.
SARU has a mission to enhance the overall educational experience of UCSI University students through their participation in social, cultural, intellectual and recreational activities, community services and campus governance.
To realise this, SARU has been working very closely with UCSI University’s Student Council to nurture student clubs and associations, and to ensure that their activities and programmes are able to develop students in a personal and professional capacity.
