此授课为基础的课程，为研究生提供了一个制胜关键：卓越科学知识和商业头脑，必可在当今竞争激烈的生物技术领域脱颖而出。此课程为正规划在职业发展中再下一城的业界专业人士量身定制 ，更优于高程度的科学课程。此课程拥有融合了科学与商业的标志性特征，由马来西亚最重要的私立商学院之一，即UCSI大学商业与管理学院合作，提供涵盖商业管理重点的科学课程。作为一名 研究生，你对科学的持久兴趣与市场意识将获得满足，并将研究成果转化为商业机会。通过掌握行业脉搏，你将看到科学解决方案的真正价值，并在成本和投资方面做出正确的决定。你将能够分辨一个新发现是转瞬即逝的泡沫还是真正的创新，当行业发生变化时，你不仅要适应和跟随，而是要走在前面。
教学特色
本课程将透过不同的教学技巧及评核策略，为学生提供有趣及具启发性的学习体验。除了理论知识，硕士生还必须具备操作和维护科学设备的能力，具有良好的实践技能，进行基础指导研究和实验室工作，分析、综合和整合知识和资讯。
因此，学生必须在本学科中进行广泛的相关实验实践，并进行密集的研究项目。对于研究项目，我们要求学生设计并进行生物技术领域的研究/调查，并提出将最终产品推向市场的建议方案。因此，学生需要在项目完成时，写一份商业计划书，包括预算、支出估算、投资资本、盈亏、销售和市场需求。这将使学生了解他们的研究目标，时间表和研究的时间管理，以及主要项目的里程碑。顺利完成研究项目将是获得该学位的关键因素。
评估是学习过程中重点之一。评估方式将根据科目而有所不同，一些学生将有正式的总结性评估。但大部分学生将在整个课程过程中不断地被评估。持续评估即要求学生自主学习、通过呈堂报告、书面报告、案例研究、对已发表的科学数据的批判性分析、小型项目(个人或小组)、研讨会和课堂讨论等，进行作业形式的评估。通过各种学习与教学媒介和技术，学生将学会利用作业中的机会和挑战来扩展知识，并贯彻终身学习的精神。案例研究的批判性分析和数据分析练习是其中一项最适用的技术，将帮助他们分析现实生活中的生物科技问题，并应用他们所研究的理论。 同时， 也将收获未来职业生涯中必须具备的沟通技巧、领导能力和团队合作精神。
Academic Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
- A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, or its equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
- A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in a related field with at least CGPA of 2.50 and has not achieved CGPA 2.75, or its equivalent can be accepted subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
- A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related field but has not achieved CGPA of 2.50, or its equivalent can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years’ working experience in the relevant field.
English Language Requirements
- A minimum score of 5.5 in IELTS OR
- Band 3 in MUET OR
- A minimum score of 46 in TOEFL iBT OR
- A minimum score of 51 in Pearson Test of English OR
- A minimum score of 160 in Cambridge English Qualification and Tests OR
- An undergraduate degree with English as its medium of instruction
