概述
音乐基础课程旨在通过培养扎实的音乐知识与思辨能力，为学生攻读音乐学士学位课程做好准备。学生将通过《音乐鉴赏》、《音乐听力》、《马来西亚音乐概论》及《音乐产业概论》等科目，深入探索音乐领域。通过这些课程，学生将学习提出有深度的问题，反思与音乐相关的议题，并将理论知识与实际应用相结合。
为进一步提升实践能力，学生将参与合唱团或管弦乐团的演出与合奏训练，同时修读音乐技能课程，并通过主修与副修乐器的学习加强演奏能力。课程亦注重培养学生的团队合作精神、责任感与沟通能力，并通过多样化的选修课程强化数码与媒体技能。
此外，本课程亦致力于在团队学习环境中培养学生的领导能力、自主性与责任感，并强化其价值观、伦理意识、专业素养及创业意识，使学生具备在区域及国际音乐产业中实现可持续发展的能力与决策能力。

Academic Requirements
Candidates must meet either of the following requirements:
SPM
Pass with a minimum of 5 credits
O-Level
At least C grade in 5 subjects
UEC
At least B grade in 3 subjects
Other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian government
AND, pass Music Audition
