以学生为中心的课程结构是以培养和鼓励的方式，帮助学生实践自主学习的目标。 - 问题导向学习法（PBL）
医学院意识到以抛出问题为导向的学习方式是最有效的学医方法，同时也可加强研究医学知识的基础。 - 综合性学习
透过医院探访的初期临床接触，整合基础科学和临床科学的培育，在提升基础科学的学习之余，也帮助医学生过渡到综合性医院和社区医疗的学习，使他们能从容地掌握面谈、沟通和体检的技能。校方将这部分安排在课程的第二年，让医学生能将过去的培训付诸实践，并藉此预备他们过渡到课程第三年的临床学习环境。 - 电脑化辅佐学习
为了加强学习的效果，我们为医学院的教学增添多媒体工具的辅佐，包括电脑化的多功能实验室和3D数码解剖软件。
课程详情
UCSI大学医学士（MD）课程是个为期五年的课程。课程分为两个阶段，第一阶段(两年) 是在大学春泉镇校区(森美兰州/波德申)进行的前临床（pre-clinical）阶段。第二阶段(三年)则在森美兰州各医院和诊所进行。
前临床阶段每年分为两个学期，每学期约16周的课程。而临床年则被分为主要和次要职务，并这些职务之间间隔着多个学习周。

被列入世界卫生组织的医学院校名录
入学面试
学术资格符合要求的申请者将被通知出席入学面试。有关面试将决定申请者是否成功被录取。
评估
将有2次专业考试。第一次专业考试包括2个部分：其一将于第一学年年终进行，其二则落在第二学年年终。学生若通过以上两项考试，将得以继续接下来的学年。
无法通过考试的学生可选择重考，但若重考不过关，则将被退学。学生也可要求重读，以为重考做准备，但重读仅限课程的第一阶段（第一、第二学年），并只有一次机会。
第二次的专业考试将于最后一个学年的年终进行。若考试失败，可在半年后参与重考。
除了上述规定，学生也必须在日常表现中遵守职业规则和职业道德。若屡次违规，将可能被开除。

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)
Grade B each in 5 subjects i.e: Biology; and Chemistry; and Physics; and Mathematics or Additional Mathematics; and another subject.
Malaysia Higher School Certificate (STPM)
Grades BBB, ABC or AAC or CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) in 3 subjects i.e: Biology; and Chemistry; and Physics or Mathematics
General Certificate of Education Advanced ("A") Levels
Grades BBB, ABC or AAC in 3 subjects i.e.: Biology; and Chemistry; and Physics or Mathematics
General Certificate of Education Ordinary (“O”) Levels
Grade B each in 5 subjects i.e: Biology; and Chemistry; and Physics; and Mathematics or Additional Mathematics; and another subject.
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
B4 each in 5 subjects: Biology; and Chemistry; and Physics; and Mathematics; and Advanced Mathematics
Matriculation or Foundation in Science or Pre- Medical Programme
CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) in 3 subjects i.e.:
- Biology; and Chemistry; and Physics or Mathematics with minimum grade for each subject is C (GPA 2.0) and provided the programme is not less than 1 year and completed in the same institution.
Monash University Foundation Pre-University Program (MUFY) or University of New South Wales (UNSW) Foundation or Western Australia Curriculum Council or HSC Sydney Australia or Trinity College Foundation Studies or Australian Universities Foundation Programmes or South Australian Matriculation (SAM) or Victorian Certificate of Education, Australia Year 12 or Australian Matriculation (Ausmat)

**The NEET is required for Indian Citizen who wish to work in India.
***Those who do not intend to work as a medical practitioner in India must provide a signed letter of undertaking witnessed by a Lawyer or Commissioner of Oath. This letter of undertaking must clearly state that they will not seek registration with the National Medical Commission of India.
Diploma International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme
Minimum overall score 33 points, 2 science subjects (Biology and Chemistry) at Higher Level (HL) and Mathematics at HL AND attained a minimum score of 5 each in Biology; and Chemistry; and Mathematics
*This requirement is effective starting from January 2024.
Diploma in Health Sciences or equivalent (minimum 5 semesters/2.5 years and completed in the same institution
Minimum CGPA of 3.5 (out of 4.0) and 2Bs each in Biology/Chemistry/Physics; and 3 credits each in English and Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and 1 other subject at SPM/O-level/equivalent
Degree in Health/Pure/Applied Sciences
Minimum CGPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0) for entry to 5-year medical programme.
Degree in Arts/Humanities
Minimum CGPA of 3.5 (out of 4.0) for entry to 5-year medical programme.

- In the event that the English language requirements are not met, applicants will be required to take either 1119/O-Level English/IGCSE concurrently with the MD programme.
- For local and international students, exemption for their English requirement will be given once the candidate is able to provide a letter stating that English was the medium of instruction during their secondary academic qualification.
- “Conditional Letter of Offer” will be issued for International students who needs to fulfil CETE (English level) at UCSI University only. The students are given a duration of one (1) year to fulfil the said requirement at UCSI University BEFORE they are allowed enrol in the main programme.
*Otherwise the applicants are required to fulfil the above mentioned English requirements as when the application is made.

成功完成医学学位后，毕业生可申请临时注册于马来西亚医药理事会（MMC）。而在完成为期一年的强制性医院实习后， 即可正式在马来西亚注册成为执业医生。另外，马来西亚卫生部要求马来西亚籍医生必须额外服务3 年。
