概述
本课程本课程旨在让学生掌握专业配镜师所需的知识与技能。课程内容涵盖视力保健的技术层面，包括眼镜的验配、配发与调整。此外，学生也将学习眼部健康、眼部解剖结构、光学仪器的基础知识，以及该领域的职业道德与专业标准。
除了技术培训，本课程也注重沟通技巧、客户服务及业务管理知识。这为毕业生在眼镜零售店、眼科诊所工作，或经营眼镜业务奠定基础。同时，本课程也为学生攻读视光学学士学位提供良好的发展机会。
入学要求
- SPM / O-level - Minimum of three C's in English, Mathematics and Science (or Biology / Chemistry / Physics); or
- A certificate in Optical or Science field (or equivalent) from any recognised institution with a minimum CGPA of 2.33; or
- Passed as a Fellow of British Dispensing Opticians (FBDO) from any recognised institution; or
- STPM - Minimum CGPA of 2.00; or
- UEC - Minimum of three C7 in English, Mathematics and Science (or Biology / Chemistry / Physics)
