水是生命——覆盖地球超过 70% 的表面,支撑庞大的生态系统,并推动全球各行各业与生计。通过UCSI大学水产科学(荣誉)理学士课程,你将掌握知识与技能,推动水域资源的可持续利用,为全球日益发展的蓝色经济贡献力量。
这是一门面向未来的课程,你将能够应对全球水域挑战——从海洋生物多样性流失和水域污染,到粮食安全与气候适应力。你将学习如何监测脆弱生态系统、管理水域健康,并参与可持续水产养殖与海产品体系建设。无论是在保护、科研、政策还是创新领域,你都将成为塑造地球最宝贵资源未来的新一代科学家。
这是一门多学科课程,旨在让学生全面理解水域环境、水生生物健康及可持续资源管理。课程从分析化学、微生物学、结构化学和生物统计学等科学基础入手,为理解复杂水域系统提供必要工具。
随着课程进展,学生将学习核心内容,如水生生物多样性与分类学、水质与环境监测、水生毒理学、以生态系统管理及可持续水产养殖为基础的实践知识。同时辅以水域污染、自然资源治理及现代化对脆弱生态系统影响的研究。
实践教学贯穿课程始终。学生将参与实验室实验、河流、湖泊及沿海地区的实地考察,以及在水产养殖场、环境机构或海产品企业的合作实习。顶点研究项目(Capstone Research Project)将加深学生在选定领域的专业知识,例如生物指示物、生态系统恢复或鱼类病理学。
评估方式旨在培养科学、技术及应用能力,包括笔试、实验报告、实地工作记录、口头呈堂、案例分析以及毕业研究项目,使学生在多样化水域环境中具备独立及协作工作的信心。
毕业生可在水域环境管理、海洋保护、水产养殖及孵化操作、水质评估、海产品安全监管、研发及政府或非政府政策咨询等领域发展。许多毕业生也会继续攻读环境科学或水域生物科技研究生课程,或生物科技与商业管理理学硕士课程。
