概述
机械工程的职务包括了设计、制造及分析各式的机器和机械系统。那些有意提升他们的问题解决技巧及对数学及物理拥有浓厚兴趣,并立志要成为一名专业的机械工程师,以提升社区的生活素质。
在UCSI大学,该课程的目的是要栽培出具有革新意识及具备解决复杂问题的能力与沟通技巧的未来机械工程师。
此课程首先介绍基本的数学和物理基础知识,在接近课程尾声时则把重心放在培养学生对设计机械部件和系统的能力,以及透过采用各种技术和计算方法去解决复杂工程的问题能力。
此课程透过各种科目如热力学、传热学、空调系统、电厂技术和内燃机等等,为学生提供了广博的知识和研究。此外,学生也将会不时的接触到最新的工程技术,以灌输他们养成终生学习的习惯。
为了栽培出具有竞争性的毕业生,学生在第二及第三年年终时也必须接受UCSI 大学所规定的企业实习计划。此企业培训计划主要是让学生适应和熟悉真实生活中的工作环境。此外,学生也在最后一学年时,必须呈上他们的研究和发展论文报告项目。

所有UCSI 大学的学士课程都符合马来西亚工程师评审局的最新条列要求,意即符合国际华盛顿协议内容的要求。
