5 credits (B6) including pass in Mathematics and a pass in English
National Matriculation
CGPA 2.0 inclusive of pass in Mathematics at SPM
International Baccalaureate (IB)
Minimum score of 26/42 points in 6 subjects
AUSMAT/ HSC/SACE/TEE/WACE
ATAR score 60% or Minimum 60% average in 5 subjects
High School Certificate
Minimum average of 60%

English Language Requirements
- Minimum B+ in the English Language subject at SPM or Minimum A2 in UEC level or Minimum C in SPM English Language 1119/ O Level English/ IGCSE or MUET Band 3. If English language requirements are not met, applicants will be required to take the Basic English and English Foundation for in-sessional academic enhancement concurrently with the programme.
For international student:
- IELTS minimum Band 5.5
- TOEFL (Internet-based) minimum 46
- Cambridge English Qualification and Test minimum score of 160
- Pearson Test of English minimum score 51
- MUET minimum Band 3
International applicants who do not meet the respective academic programme’s English Language Requirements will need to improve their proficiency by enrolling into the English for Tertiary Education programme (R/KJP/00920-00929).
Placement into the various levels of the English for Tertiary Education programme depends on the English Language qualification students have at the point of admission and/or the outcome of the English Placement Test.
The applicants who have met the respective academic programme’s English Language Requirement may be advised by Faculty to improve their proficiency by undertaking additional English proficiency courses.
