Received the Inspiring Humanitarian Award 2022 by World Humanitarian Drive (WHD), London, United Kingdom on 29 April 2022.

Assistant Professor Sudesh is also the National President of the Universal Peace Federation Malaysia since 2017. His other notable recognitions for social work include being conferred the Ambassador for Peace Award in May 2010 by Universal Peace Federation International, an NGO in general consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, and the HyoJeong Global Award by FFWPU International in May 2018.

For having his paper recognised as the "Most read papers" and "Most cited articles" in the last 12 months and 36 months respectively by Taylor and Francis. Paper titled, "What’s stopping you from migrating to mobile tourism shopping" in the Journal of Computer Information Systems (Scopus indexed; WoS (SCIE), IF= 3.317, ABDC -A ranked). 

Published a paper entitled, “What drives attitude, purchase intention, and consumer buying behavior toward organic food? A self-determination theory and theory of planned behavior perspective” in the British Food Journal Impact Factor: 3.224 (Indexed in SCOPUS, Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), ABDC ranked B). 

Published a paper entitled, "Forecasting annual natural gas consumption in USA: Application of machine learning techniques- ANN and SVM" in the Resources Policy Journal (SSCI-IF 8.222, Scopus Q1, ABDC ranked B, and CABS 2). 

Published a highly ranked paper entitled, “Green entrepreneurial orientation and corporate environmental performance: A systematic literature review" on the European Management Journal (Scopus Q1, Web of Science (SSCI), IF = 6.1, ABDC ranked “B” journal).

Awarded the Runner-up for the Bates-White Prize by The Society of Financial Econometrics (SoFiE) Annual Meeting 2022 for his paper entitled, "Non-Standard Errors".

Won Best Paper Award for his paper entitled, "Mediating Effect of Goal Acquisition on the Relationship Between Personal Factor and Self-Directed Learning" at the International Academic Symposium of Social Science 2022 on 5 July 2022.

Received the Best Paper Award with the selected presentation entitled, "Intention to Invest in Green Stock among Malaysian Working Adults" at the 1st International Conference Symposium on Green Sustainable Technology and Management ICGSTM 2022 on 12 & 11 June 2022.

Champion of the BizMaker 2022 "Moving to Mastery" Competition organised by Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).
