Congratulations to Associate Professor Dr Crystale Lim Siew Ying for winning the MSMBB Best Scientist Award 2022 (Young Scientist Category) organised by the Malaysian Society for Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MSMBB). MSMBB established the Best Scientist Awards in 2021 to recognise outstanding scientists who have made significant contributions to molecular biology and biotechnology.

Received Best Paper Award for their research entitled, "Social Media Co-creation Activities among Elderly Consumers: An Innovation Resistance Perspective" which was presented in the International Conference on Information Systems and Intelligent Applications (ICISIA 2022) on 1 & 2 July 2022.

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FPS) team led by Assoc Prof. Dr Mogana Sundari Rajagopal, Assoc Prof Dr Palanirajan Vijayaraj Kumar and Mr Hardave Singh Bhall, won the Best Innovation & Commercialization Award for their invention (Pharmcare Sanitizer Spray). The team developed a skin friendly, moisturising sanitiser spray with 99.9% antiseptic properties. The product was commercialised through the Laurent Bleu Medical Clinic, whereby the feedback and response of the product was overwhelming.
