You will be able to deliberate and research on the spread of biological agents that could harm communities globally, as well as the complex array of factors relating to society, the environment and the increasing global interconnectedness that enhance the likelihood of the emergence of tropical and infectious disease. The research projects you undertake during your stint here can be community-based or laboratory-based, or both.
UCSI University’s well-established research centre, CERVIE (Centre of Excellence for Research, Value Innovation and Entrepreneurship) will provide for a complete set of research facilities and supervisors (parasitologists, microbiologists, geneticists or public health physicians) that will be nominated for you based on your research areas.
A Home Away From Home
The institution is fully equipped with modernized facilities, from various high-standard science labs, a good resource centre and many more. The University is filled with active, passionate students who organises all sorts of activities that you can participate in.
There are many students here from various countries with different cultural and religious backgrounds. Lecturers here are also very nice. Although I have only been here for three weeks, I have made a lot of friends who have been so gracious they made me feel right at home.
I like UCSI because it has assisted me in the journey of becoming a successful person and a knowledgeable student. I have learnt countless ways to achieve my goals in life and how to concentrate on the path I choose.

Being a student in the UCSI Institute of Music has been a great experience. Here, I have found many lecturers interested in moving towards excellence. UCSI has a big number of international students; and that, together with the local students’ help, have assisted me with the process of adapting to Malaysia’s different cultures.
I think the most precious experience that I have gained studying here is meeting people from different countries, learning their various cultures and customs. I have also met experienced lecturers here who share their professional experiences with students, which inspires me. UCSI University is a delightful place to study and I gained more than I expected here.
