For students who intend to pursue their course at UCSI Terengganu Campus, please be informed there is no international airport located in the Terengganu state. Hence, the clearance of Malaysian Immigration will be done in Kuala Lumpur. By submitting the Airport Pick-Up Services Form, a staff from the University will be assisting and meeting you in the Immigration Office of the respective airports (KLIA/KLIA2/Subang Airport) before arranging for and sending you to the connecting domestic flight to Terengganu.

Therefore, it is important for you to fill up the information below in our Airport Pick-Up Services Form and email it to us at [email protected] at least seven (7) days before your departure. You could also fax it to UCSI University (609-628 1885).

• Date & Time of Departure from your home country
• Date & Time of Arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) / Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2) / Subang Airport.
• Date & Time of Departure from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) / Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2) / Subang Airport.
• Date & Time of Departure at Sultan Mahmud International Airport, Kuala Terengganu.
• Flight Name & Number.

The Airport Pick-Up Services Form is applicable only for programme offered at UCSI University Terengganu Campus.

Note

UCSI University Terengganu Campus will not be held responsible for consequences if the above instructions are not complied with. Priority for airport pickup is for the registered students. Accompanying persons need to arrange for their own transportation.

Before you leave for the airport, please be sure to bring along and have accessible, the following important documents:

• Passport (must be valid for at least 12 months before expiry).
• Original Copy of the Visa Approval Letter or Valid Entry Visa.

You need to fill in the Disembarkation Card provided by the airline crew. Please keep the card stub and follow any specific information given to you by the UCSI University counsellors.

At KLIA - Upon leaving the airplane, you will need to board an "Aerotrain", which will take passengers from Terminal C to the Baggage Reclaim & Immigration Terminal.

You must take the sky-train within 20 minutes of disembarking the plane.

At KLIA2 or Subang Airport - You should proceed to the Immigrations Counter after disembarking the plane.

KLIA - A UCSI University representative will wait for you at the Immigration Office (International student waiting area).

KLIA2 - A UCSI University representative will wait for you at the Immigration Office (International student waiting area).

Subang Airport - A UCSI University representative will wait for you at the Immigration Counter.

The UCSI University representative will hold a placard (piece of paper) printed with your name and flight details to guide you through immigration clearance. You need to be ready with the following documents for the Immigration Officers:

• Passport.
• Original Copy of Visa Approval Letter or Valid Entry Visa.

Note:

The Immigrations Officer WILL NOT release you without the presence of a UCSI University representative to identify and clear you from Immigration.

You are required to pre-book your flight ticket with direct transfer from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu on the same day of arrival. Domestic flights from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu take approximately 1 hour.

The UCSI University Terengganu Campus representative will be waiting for your arrival at the Sultan Mahmud International Airport, Kuala Terengganu. The representative will hold a placard (piece of paper) printed with your name and flight details to guide you through pick-up services.

The UCSI University Terengganu Campus representative and student ambassador will offer a refreshment package and a Welcome Letter to you. Then, you will be driven to the UCSI University Residential Hall. At the Residential Hall, the Accommodations Officer will assist you at the front counter to check you in if it is during the usual UCSI University working hours (not evenings, nights or weekends). Otherwise, a security guard or warden will assist you to check-in.
